Unique Training

I've been certified through two intensive Minnesota State College and University programs:

One in Guitar Construction with David Vincent, And the other in

Wood Finishing with Mitch Kohanek;

both the only ones of their kind in the country recognized by the University system.

I've also been certified by the Fender and Gibson guitar companies, and their affiliates, for work condusive with their warranty repair procedure...

I'm a Michigan native.

As I was graduating from Michigan State in 2000, I caught the wood bug.

I have worked in shops across the country, including Hawai'i,

and the literally monumental,

United States Capitol in Washington D.C.

My other training includes lectures and workshops from the then Senior Furniture Conservator at the Smithsonian Institute, Don Williams, who was kind enough to allow me to assist on a maintenance treatment of The Congressional Mace, which he'd previously fully treated.

In short, I'm uniquely trained to handle your family heirloom with care.
